Rainy spring day

For those of you who don't know, when Isaac was first born, Eli completely ignored him. This was kind of a relief, because I spent the entire pregnancy worried about how he would react. It wasn't ideal, but at least he wasn't angry at the new baby. As the months passed, however, I started to wonder when (if ever) they would become buddies (I can always find something to worry about).

Well folks, that day has definitely arrived. Eli could not love this little boy any more than he does. This morning he begged us to wake Isaac up early, and when he finally did wake up, he just wanted to hold him. He loves playing baby games with him, and of course, Eli is definitely Isaac's favorite person in the whole world. They hide in the pack-n-play "fort" with flashlights, chase each other, share snacks, and tackle Daddy together. Sure, Eli gets upset with Isaac repeatedly knocks over his tower of blocks, but I don't think he would return him to the hospital now if we gave him the choice.
