Weekend bike rides
This weekend we rented a Burley and rode all over Eugene. The weather was perfect - sunny and 70's - and the boys loved the ride. I had truly forgotten how bike-friendly Eugene really is. Even within the 5 years we've been gone, there have been massive improvements. Yesterday we stopped at a restaurant with patio seating so we could just leave our bikes right next to us, and today we took a picnic lunch and just stopped at Skinner Butte Park. I thought Eli might get bored, but this morning he was begging to go again. All of these photos were taken at Alton Baker, just one of many stops on the way.

I really love this! It makes me want to move to Eugene--weather in the mid-70's? Yes, please. I went for a run today and was sweating like--well let's just say a prostitute in the church house. Anyway--awesome. I'm planning a visit--fyi.
